World University Ranking

IHE published the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) on its website (http://ed.sjtu.edu.cn/ranking.htm) in June 2003 and updated the ranking in 2004. Since the initial publication, there have been more than 1.2 million visitors from all over the world, an average of about two thousand visitors everyday. Numerous well-known higher education institutions, organizations and the media have reported or cited the ranking.
