The registration for the IREG-5 Conference in Berlin is now open.

The Academic Consortium 21 International Forum will be hosted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University October 18-21, 2010, during the prestigious World Expo. The conference themes will cover university ranking, and building world-class universities in the age of internationalization. All are welcome to participate and contribute.

The Center for World-Class Universities of Shanghai Jiao Tong University today released the 2009 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) at the Third International Conference on World- Class Universities held in Shanghai from Nov 2-4. The rankings identify the leading 500 universities around the world and are widely referenced by the global university community.

The Third International Conference on World-Class Universities (WCU-3) was held on 2-4 November, 2009, organized by the Centre for World-Class Universities, Graduate School of Education, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. It attracted more than 160 delegates from 40 countries, with three keynote lectures and 25 presentations. The conference aims to brought together researchers, university leaders, policy makers, government officials and other stakeholders to discuss major developments and issues in the field of world-class universities.
